Collecting my chicken poop in my handy pooper scooper, then I run across this one. We have a Silkie hen who goes through runny black poop once or twice a year, she is 4 years old. She goes broody a lot. This is probably hers, its one of those big giant broody hen poops they save up for when they trot out of the broodybox for a morning stroll.
Does anybody know what can be causing her swampy smelling black poops?
