Black Toe? HELP!

I bought this week old chick that appears to have a black toe. It's flexible but he's still running around, eating, and drinking. Should I cut it off? Could this lead to any serious injuries? HELP!

It could be frostbite. I would put Neosporin or Bacitracin ointment on it and leave it alone. It may fall off eventually, but he should be okay.

What about vetericyn? Would that be better?

My chick has the same thing.. Her toe had its circulation cut off, but i removed what was causing the cut off. Has or did anything help with you?? Thanks
