Bleeding egg

One of my chicks has hatched (and he is adorable!) but he blundered round and trod one of my other pipped eggs. His toe went through some of the membrane and now the membrane is bleeding. Do you think the egg will be ok? has anybody else has this happen? please help

Get the egg out and try stop the bleeding by pressing paper against it or something and it will be fine.
