Bleeding naval

So I need help I thought my chick has feces stuck to its bottom but then I used a wet towel to clean off an I think I pulled off the remaining parts from the naval. It's slightly bleeding what do I do I just got them yesterday an they are only a few days old. I had no idea they had a belly button I've had many chicks before an never had this issue. Help please

Apply Neosporin or something like that and monitor

You want the umbilical tump to dry up, so I would put Betadine or alcohol or chlorhexidene on it. Alcohol is usually how those are cleaned on babies.
