I have a mostly blind hen, she was like that when she hatched. She would run into things all the time. I raised her with other chicks and she has learned how to follow them around, listen to the rooster when he warns or calls and she lives a totally normal life. She lays an egg everyday and free ranges in my back yard. She can kind of see during the day, but whatever it is has to be very close or moving in order for her to see it. At night, forget it, she can't see a thing!
