Blind Motted Orpington?

I purchased a Motted orpington chick from a breeder at around 2 weeks old. He (i don't know what gender it is so for the sake of this post ill use he) was with a group of other chicks. He always seemed lazy but I always thought thats just how he is. The others are so energized and he's just there doing his own thing in his own pace. He walks around and eats and poops and drinks. At first I thought he was sick so I separated him from the rest. He would act normal except for the fact he moved and walked around slower than the others and his eyes seemed halfway open. One day I watched him eat and he was munching on his dish like usual. Then he took a few steps to the side and kept trying to eat with nothing there. I waved my hand in front of him and he didn't seem to flinch. Is he blind? Has anyone encountered anything like this before? Advice would be appreciated!

How does his eye look compared to the other eye? Is the area around the eye swollen slightly? How does the color and pupil look? Blindness can be common in chickens from vitamin A deficiency, avian encephalomyelitis (AE,), injuries, infections, Mareks disease, and cataracts, among other reasons. Does he have any other symptoms, such as a runny nose or sneezing?

Now that I looked more carefully his eyes both seem watery and cloudy. Also he does sneeze occasionally

I would get some antibiotics such as Tylan 50 injectable , and give the chick 1/4 cc or ml twice a day by mouth for 5 days. Most sick chicks don't drink enough medicated water, but you could also try oxytetracycline in the water for 7 days.
