Blister on ducks bill

Hello, my duck had this bubble/ blister thing appear on her bill yesterday. Does anyone know what causes this and how to treat it. It looks just like this and is soft. Thanks for all your help

How old and do you have other ducks or waterfowl?

She is around 3 months old and yes I have a goose also but her beak is fine.

Your goose may have bit your ducklings bill creating kind of like a blood blister...maybe someone else will chime in

I don’t think so. My duck has almost outgrown the goose and they get along great. This is not your typical goose, she is super friendly.

Probably poked its bill on something sharp. Then it filled with water when it was dabbling and drinking. Take a pin and pop it. It will flatten out.

@goose321, please do read that thread. I think that with time it will resolve on it's own.

Please do not poke a hole in it unless a vet tells you to. I say this because poking a hole in it is a good way to introduce a bacterial infection.

Thank you for all the replies. I will use Epsom salts on it but apart from that leave it alone.
