Blood in 2 day old chick droppings

I just bought some chicks from TSC today (Red Sex Link) and they are drinking and eating fine. I noticed one dropping that had bright red blood in it and I'm not sure which chick it is from. Is this normal for a 2 day old chick or is it something more serious????? Any suggestions????

I'm new at this, but from what I've read this sounds like it could be Coccidiosis.

Treatable with medication you can get at TSC if you catch it early.

Thanks, I'll look into that. I didn't think that chicks just 2 days old could get Coccidiosis.

Yes, chicks that young can get Coccidiosis, though it is more common with slightly older chicks. I would definitely look into getting some Corid/amprolium, just in case. Coccidiosis can kill quickly.
