Blood in coop

I found some blood on the pine shavings under the hen's roost this morning. It looked like someone took bright red blood in a cup and just dumped it out on there. And I later discovered some on the roost, too. None of them have any injuries that I can find, no seepage, no wounds, and they are all acting normal...

Any ideas?

Yikes! Could someone have passed some blood? Here's a link that I was given on chicken poop. It was very helpful to me; maybe it'll help you.

Thanks. I did take a look at it, but there wasn't any poo involved. It was just blood... but I didn't find anything on any of my chickens and as of today everyone is acting normally... Maybe they killed a field mouse or something?
