You know how roosters are, they get in all sorts of trouble. He could have tipped and hurt himself. lol. I know that during the AI process you massage the rooster's vent pretty firmly, and sometimes you rupture capillaries in the process. And that's what leaves the blood in the semen. Nothing to worry about unless there is a lot of blood, which might mean internal injury.
Oh man, I feel a lot better having read this. I must admit I dont know what AI is but I like to hear that I most likely have nothing to worry about. Of course I keep thinking about what it would mean in humans (blood in semen or urine). Doctors would never take it lightly.
