One of my bantam wyandotte pullets just laid her first egg. The texture of the egg had some rough spots. There was no blood on the egg though.

When she perched, she left blood all over the perch. I saw blood in the pine shavings too.

I figure she has broken some blood vessels, but I am unsure if I need to give her any kind of first aid.

Thanks for any advice.

It's okay, the first egg is always a little tough

Don't worry about the blood, it's normal for their first egg although keep a watch on it for anything excessive. If it continues then seek help but for right now nothing to worry about. Check her behind, if there is a flow of blood obviously something is wrong but if it isn't dripping right now then she's okay
