blood ring or blind

Your right granny!! The lid looked liked it could burst open when I've just got up. Could not even tell how many were hatched so have moved some to the brooder.

11 in the brooder, 4 chicks in incubator because they still looked wet. 7 pips and 3 eggs not showing any signs of anything.

Quick update ~ 20 chicks hatched :yesss:
3 pips and 2 eggs nothing. More silver lace this time and some blacks and a gold lace too. A possible chamois/white. Not sure though :idunno
Think they will last a couple of days on guinea cage as it's looking pretty full already. Will post some more pics soon. Hope your having a nice day granny :frow

Well well well granny! You were right the last 2 eggs have pipped. They are a little late and I'm not holding out much hope for them being healthy as they are so late compared to the others. Number 23 just hatched (day 22) looks a bit splayed leg to me and it's navel is a little red but yolk is absorbed. In the hour it's been out of the egg it's spent more time on its back, just looks weak. Hoping it's going to fluff up and pull round. Here are the others ~

a lot of fat heads there . the black one with the little spot of white on the head is my favorite i think.

Last 2 are here!! Seemed to take ages to zip but got out ok. The three that have hatched today are still in the incubator having a rest. The last 2 also looked a bit red around the navel and had a bit of cord still attached. They are drying up ok though. Now that all eggs have hatched I turned the humidity down so they fluffed up quicker. Just going out to sort the shed out for them as they are a little cramped in the cage. Never had has many in it before.
