blood ring or blind

did your wrong end hatch ok ? did you help ? I have had no luck at all. the last egg died half way and i am pretty sure it was the power outage. it lines up with the size of the chick. I now have 4 in there from the 18th , 3 from yesterday and 1 today along with 17 of my LF put in yesterday as well. Its become personal now. LOL If my lf hatch and seramas dont I am going to blame them and try no more. well, no more with that pr.

I had to help mine out. It was stuck pretty good in there. I thought at first it wasn't going to make it. It couldn't stand and its legs kept flexing out all rigid. But after some polyvisol, a day of regular, gentle fingertip massages, and time to just chill in the bator, it bounced back and is doing great. I can't even tell which one it is anymore in the sea of black and white.

Nothing but bad news for me. the 4 that are due to go in lockdown this weekend are all looking dead to me. I cant find anything that explains mid-term death. when the elect went out i lost the one that was more advanced and i thought i had lost these too but i waited and a couple days late seen them moving, kicking for sure. candled last night and they are all cloudy with no movement and blurry. I have 4 more new ones in there . this is day5 for them. I also put my layers in there at the same time. this should tell me if it is the seramas or the bator. I just dont know what else to do. when the seramas start with the spider it dont look right to me. it looks like tiny veins going up to the air sac and it is all around the egg with no visible center or eye.

I like that, Blooming nora, never heard it before but i get the meaning. LOL I cant find any info on mid death . I just pm a member that would know but dont think she is on. hopefully between her and these big eggs I will find something out. the eggs i have in there now, if they dont die too I think i will leave half there and half in the other bator and see if that might make a difference. surly 3 thermometers all reading the same cant be wrong and they wouldnt just up and die mid way anyhow . I guess on a good note, those baby bantams i rescued from that woman that was feeding them to her cat , they are the prettiest little things i have seen. a big variety of colors. they need to be moved to a bigger space, not sure where. have to put my thinking cap on if i can remember where i put it.

day 7 on the new serama eggs and the LF eggs. seems as i am getting better all the time. NOT. all 4 of the seramas are very active. they dont like the light. of the 17 lf eggs i added I know of 4 that are fertile. that doesnt mean a lot because they are pretty dark brown. the ones I did see are clearly fertile though. I moved the big fertile ones next to the seramas . to keep track.

thanks, I am not holding my breath. they all have made it to this point. its around day 10-12 they die and i cant find a reason why. since all these eggs went in at the same time i am going to keep them there for lock down and try more in the other incubator. Just need to collect a few more first. when i candled them they seemed TOO active for day 7, its like i scared them and they started flipping a lot. that is leading me to think the temp might be too high despite 3 thermometers.

its day 9 all 4 of the seramas are still alive and only 3 of the 17 LF eggs were fertile . lol surprised me finally got a polish egg today !
