they are adorable !! nice high quality as well. big for their age, i think. quiet for a min. they are on their way over to "visit". LOL one wafer is working right. the switch is bad in the other. it will work fine with one. so i have it at 102 right now. will take it down to 100 by days end.

Thanks granny! How old are your new ones? A "visit" already they have only just gone!! I expect you will have lots of visits, are they very close? I grew up with my Grandparents in the same village and loved just being able to go around when I wanted to. Plus they always had better food in the fridge than my Mum! or seemed to have. My Mum now has better food in the fridge than me. I always have to have a look in hers when I go round. Weird how things change as you grow up!!

ahh, sorry, forgot you asked about the age. LOL less then a week I guess. some all fluff some starting wing feathers. the kids are a 20 min. ride from me . pretty close as everything is 20 min from me. hahaa

None at the moment untill I have moved some of these on that I have. Hoping with the spring approaching things will pick up. Have sold few eggs for hatching though so all adds to the chicken money pot. I'm not sure I will ever even break even on this chicken lark!! Can't put a price on enjoyment though.

Have moved the smaller ones out into the new shed now. They are much happier with more room now. Have divided the shed up so I can have big ones and little ones in the shed together. Have got a blue frizzle in these 10 day olds, hoping it's going to be a new little Poppet!! God bless him

How are your new ones coming on? And the big question!! Have you got eggs set and the new incubator running ok?

a blue frizzle ? cool. you are way ahead of me. I have the incubator ready finally. LOL no eggs yet. supposed to be shipped on monday though. hope these do good . if not I give up. chicks are in at the stores now.

Hi granny! Eggs yet? I'm getting the incubator out again soon. A friend wants some brahmas doing so this should feed my addiction for another few weeks. They are going to collect the eggs and bring them too me so should be a better hatch than them through the post.
Contract hatching I could get into this!!

That's great news granny. Glad it's holding well for you. We might have eggs set together then. I'm not sure when these brahma eggs are arriving. I hope this hatch goes ok it feels a bit more of a pressure because they are for some one else. How are your chicks?

I told you all the ees died didnt i ? i dont know what happened really. 7 in one night . I got some seramas yesterday ! 13 of them. and i got 6 hatchery egg layers from the feed store .
