I went to lock my chickens in their coop tonight and I found my girl in the nesting box. When I pull

O.K.
That swollen abdomen is very concerning to me. Is it hard or does it feel fluid filled?
I understand, this could be an injury, but I feel like there is more going on with her.
Were the other chickens picking at her?

Could be wrong, I have been before:D But I think she has a reproductive problem that has cause swelling in the abdomen that has caused it to push through and made the skin split.

Is she pooping?

I'm not sure if the other chickens were pecking at her. I found her in the egg box and she might have been trying to get away from them. It feels "normal" I'm not sure how else to describe it. Not really hard and no fluid from what I can tell. We did loose a chicken to prolapsed the day before. I am really concerned that this happened 24 hrs later.

It's just strikes me as an odd "wound". The edges of it are a bit ragged, so I do wonder if that is from being picked at.

I'm sorry you lost one to prolapse with in the last day or so.
How many chickens do you have and how much space? Are they currently staying "cooped up" due to cold weather?

You can feel some other hens’ bottoms between their legs to compare them with how hers looks and feels to see if hers is more enlarged. Many of us with chickens see enlarged lower bellies in reprodcutive disorders as well as ascites or fluid in the belly.

As far as her wound, I would apply plain Triple Antibiotic Ointment or Neosporin twice a day. In a couple of days if ahe is well enough to go back into the flock, use either the pine tar or BluKote which will hide the wounds and the pine tar tastes bad. While you have her separated you can tell if she is laying or not.

We had 8 chickens in about 6x6 coop and an outdoor run that is about 30' by 20'. They go outside daily. We've had a couple of below 0 days that they were locked in, but not even for the entire day

Well she’s off to a good start on her recovery. I do not know your setup but If it were me and my hen given my circumstances this is what I would do. I’d keep her in for the next couple days. Give another soak and this time I’d use Epsom Salt’s. I’d see if more dead tissue would come off from around her vent.
I’d keep everything moist reapplying oil as needed.
I’m not well versed in homeopathy. But I would add perhaps oregano and honey to her water just to encourage her to drink more. (I really dunno)
I would prepare a safe place in the coop for her to continue to recover. I’d have to use one of my nesting boxes. Setup with food and water and I’d put chicken wire up so she’d stay put and safe. The day I put her out I’d let the wound dry (no soak) and I’d apply the Blue Kote it has antibacterial qualities and it seals the skin a bit. I’d check her a couple times a day. Perhaps roll up a towel (wrap a bit of duct tape to hold)and provide a soft perch inside the box...so she’s not pooping right where she’s laying down.
The reintroduction to her flock mates will be a whole separate phase in her recovery.
Just some thoughts....

Thank you everyone for your help. She had two baths today and is just relaxing. Ate and drank quite a bit. No egg. I've been slathing her with a combo of coconut oil and Calendula oil. I also put Epsom salt in her bath. I will keep you posted and post more pics if things change. Thank you again

Here is day two of her recovery. Bottom is drying out and healing nicely. Epsom salt soaks 2x daily and keeping the wound lubricated. I’m going to try and take her out to the flock tomorrow, but keep her separated.
