Don't you have off peak water over there?, its when the water tank only heats up once or twice a day. Here it only heats up once, i think it depends on what size water heater you have, if its a small one it heats up twice a day. So our heater only turns on at 12am in the morning and thats it. We have a 310 litre tank and its just enough for 4 of us, we sometimes run out of water
Well, I don't know that term "off peak water" but if your water heater only runs once daily, then you've got a very insulated tank. It gets very cold here in Iowa in the winter, as low as 10 below with wind chill often in January. Brrrrr. Hard to keep anything warm.
