Bloody Vent

What is this clump?
Just feathers or is it scab like?
It's so hard to tell.

I that they're just stuck together because they're wet. All the skin that could see looked completely normal as far as I can tell

I had the same problem with one of my hens, the apple vinegar is a very good idea. I also had put calcium in her water, you can open a calcium vitamin or the calcium sea shells (I think that's what they are).

I am very glad to hear she is doing okay now. You are doing a great job!
