Bloody Vent

I went out today to give my hens some treats and saw my buff brahma had a very bloody vent. She hasn't laid in a while so I think she might be egg bound. I put her in a dark place with corn and apple cider vinegar water to try and keep her from producing more eggs.

What is her normal diet?
Just corn is not a good idea.

Have you thought about soaking her in a warm epsom salt bath and "feeling" for an egg?

All I have now is corn and layer feed. I can go get some feather booster or something like that.

No, what if I break it? I'm afraid if I mess with stuff I'll make it worse. But if I leave her be then she won't get better. So it's a lose lose situation

Layer feed is better for her right now than corn.
She actually needs the calcium in the layer feed.

If she has an egg stuck it needs to come out, keeping her in the dark MAY slow her from pushing an egg out.

Yes. I just don't want her to keep building up eggs inside of she can't get them out

It actually sounds more likely that the other hens have been pecking at/cannibalizing her.
