It certainly could use some ointment. Can you get her to a vet? Forgive me if I have already asked - getting a little tired right now, don't remember. Some use Manuka honey for infections.

Any vet can recognize an infection and calculate the proper antibiotic dosage based on weight, What about the vet that treated her when she was egg bound?Unfortunately we don't have a vet around here that specializes in birds. I will try putting some ointment on it and see how that helps.

Soak her in a nice Epsom Salt water bath[warm] don't let her drink it. then dry it real good and put tripe antibiotic or some other kind of antibiotic ointment on it. She's isolated for the flock right?
I understand when you can't use a vet.
We got the snow too. Also, we ended up getting a ton of snow that started yesterday evening and went through to this morning. I don't think I could get her to a vet today...
It would probably be good to stick her in a bath tub of warm water, clean her vent and repost pictures of the vent after she's had a good soak and cleaning. I'm on the iPad, so can't see the pictures very well, but it looks like maybe she has a prolapsed vent?
