She/he is five weeks old now. I think I may be seeing the early beginnings of a beard & muffs, especially in the second pic, but not sure yet. Again, yes, she/he came out of a nice blue egg and I noticed before she'd completely kicked the shell off that she had a reddish tinge to her fluff. The color is puzzling and unexpected. Could be she's leaning more toward the red part of the BLRW, I guess, but dang, that so looks like a RIR chick..and I've had plenty of those over time.

So you see the beard, too! Okay, then it's not just me, LOL. She came from a BBS Ameraucana flock who had a BLRW rooster visit for a spell, so I already knew there was the possibility of an unconventional Ameraucana. It will be fun watching her grow out and that's the main reason I'm hoping for a pullet, so I can watch her develop and change.

Looks like a pretty little pullet to me! She is her own individual, unlike others before her!
I see the beard, too.

Reminds me of all the different looks that your Meg and Suede produce in offspring! Of course, my Miss Polly is the beauty queen of alllll of those, as we all know!

Just adding more pics now that she's a few days older. Still no more comb development, so I've named her Rita, after HorseFeathers's red sexlink hen who passed recently. She could bloom later, I guess, but seems that most of my cockerels of any breed are fairly obvious by six weeks old.
