BLRW chicks

I'd be curious to know what the 3 different colored chicks will grow into, for coloring.

can you tell with BLR wy chicks what color they'll be as adults by chick coloring.?

Cool. I have seen many BLRW before, but I haven't ran across too many folks who have gotten theirs from Myers. Thanks.

Mine are NOT from Meyers....breeder birds all the way thru and thru.

LOL..I was hoping you'd see that haha

We couldnt agree more! If your going to get a beautiful stock like this, please dont trust the "major" breeders to supply you with it. Go with an independent supplier like a few mentioned here, you will be much greater satisfied.

Seems all the really good stock is in the USA. BLRW are a bit scarce in these parts.
I gave my two good BLRW hens (bought from a breeder) to a friend for her breeding program. I was not going to breed them so I figure she had a more important use for them.
Everybody always picks out the one BLRW hen I have left. People are quite taken with her color.
Even thou I raised them from chicks I can't say they are the friendliest of chickens. Sort of a surperior attitude.

I don't agree with that......what I consider some of the "major" breeders have some of the best birds around. Most of them have spent a lot of time and money developing good birds and it's going to be hard to find any better. You get what you pay for most of the time.

ETA: Unless you're considering "major breeders" to be hatcheries....I consider them factories, not breeders.
