BLRW- which rooster is nicest so far?

#1 in the first shot looks weak tailed[Wry tail].If he has better tail carriage most of the time and you decide to keep him look very carefully at the tails of the females you mate him to. Tom

well since #1 seems to be the best of the bunch, even tho he is not perfect (thank you for pointing out specific weakness, i will try to pick females to make up for them), i got a few more shots of him. i think i will keep him to see how me matures, as well as #4 (the young one), and hopefully i get some nice guys from the younger group as well.

#1 again... His legs dont look quite as white in person, but they are deffinatly lighter than the others.

yay found the BLRW site i had previously viewed but failed to save as a "favorite"

http://www.bluelacedred.com/blrindex.html

after reviewing that site, i hope i have a nicer rooster candidate in the youngsters, but if i dont #1 will have to do. I have some pullets i am very excited about in the younger group, some very promising in the splash and blue variety

I will keep that one hen from the first group, but my grandmother can have the McMurray pullet to lay eggs, after color comparisson im not happy with how brassy she is.

I don't understand what "duck feet" are and can't see it. Can you explain more so I can? Thanks

I like #1 also and #4 still needs to grow out. I think #3 looks good and yes I have heard that they are good to keep to help with lacing. His wattle is a little big for his size, could that be what you don't like?

Nice Birds all around though!

Germaine, look at pic.#3

That 1st one is beautiful. I just started raising these and my male has a little too much red but he is still young he has not molted yet. We will see how he looks in the spring. I have a few of his off spring and the one pullet is absolutely beautiful.
