I'm not sure if I'm posting on the right forum but I hatched blue laced red Wyandotte and I was wondering if the copper on her head and neck will eventually go away as she gets older. Also will her lacing get better. She was hatched mid June. TIA

Are her parents your birds or do you have pics of them? That can somewhat help you know the quality to expect from the offspring, as far as good lacing and coloring.
I bought eggs off of someone but I have pictures of the birds. The father is black laced red and the mother is blue laced red.
