BLRW'S from MMH

BC, I would love to get some from you even if I have to drive to you in TR. Had and aunt that lived in Waretown. Or I am right of Interstate 78. Looking for some chicks around mid March to mid April. Let me know what you need from me to hold some!

We got two chicks last year, and one has wonderful color and personality, and is looking for a home, (since he is a young roo) This is Red;

The hen is pretty, but looks more cream laced than blue! She has nice shape, and lays nice dark eggs!

Good Luck, and if you are coming up to the Poultry Congress in MA this weekend, I will bring Red to you!!

No, sorry, I don't have any available for sale right now. My rooster decided to go practically sterile on me last summer, so I never really got a chance to hatch any chicks for myself. Of the ones I did manage to hatch, only 2 were pullets and 6 were roos. (Go figure.) However, I did find a breeder who hatched chicks from excellent stock and bought two new cockerels from her, so I fully expect to have some nice fertile eggs this spring. My plan is to hatch some chicks out for myself before anyone else this year!

I got both a dark and a light roo from her, so I have one to put with the opposite colored girls. I expect to get a lot of dark ones this year. Here's photos of my new boys, who had yet to grow in their tails. They look nice now.

Tams, cute, cute chicks! Now I have blrw envy!

Bliss, those boys are handsome! Some day I'll get my blrw's! Just not sure I want to get them from MMH.

Tomorrow's my b'day and dh said to order away but my gut says wait!

I bought 3 BLRW bantams from Ideal in October, lost one in shipping, Out of the 2 survivors i got a cockrel and a pullet, I am not that impressed with their quality and the chicks were very slow to get their feathers and have weird looking eyes. I had a golden laced wyandotte standard roo which i just loved but because we have banties he had to be rehomed so i thought i'd get a bantam version of the blrw and they are nothing like my smelly nelly who came from Mcmurrays.
