Blu-Cote question?

Which works best Aerosol spray, Pump Spray, or Dauber?


I do not have an injury yet but I will be integrating youger birds with older birds and I want to be ready just in case. While I'm at it what else should I have in my chicken first aid kit?

IMHO, I wouldn't use the aerosol because it causes too much "extra spray" to float around. I have the cream on hand because of all the other animals I use it on as well.

We have used the dauber, works just fine - good control of where it goes. We also took a little of the BluKote liquid and mixed it with some homemade herbal salve to add extra healing oomph. Worked great.
