So are blue Ameraucana like other blues in that you end up with a mix of blue black and splash? Also how do you get blue wheaten Am? Would I mix blue with wheaten or black with wheaten and what would the percentage be of blue wheaten? I have 3 " Blue Wheaten Ameraucanas" I got from eBay (eggs) and they all still look very wheaten. They are about 4 weeks old . If they are all wheaten how would I cross to get the blue wheaten?

Yes! I really don't care what color of Ameraucana you talk about... this thread is directed mainly to Blues though, except all color varieties are welcome!
I also have some Splash Ameraucanas, and I love them! So colorful and beautiful...

Yay! Glad to see a thread for just Blue Ameracaunas. I'm new to chickens, but I absolutely love my girl. I only have 1 pure Ameracauna, Lizzie. Then I have a black Ameracauna that is a mix between Black Copper Maran & Ameracauna. Lizzie is the sweetest bird & gets along well with the rest of the chickens, though she is rather skittish, and has not yet allowed me to touch her.
