Blue Ameraucana thread!

Pics
Hi,
I am new to Backyard Chickens but not chickens themselves! I have recently added to my flock a purebred blue Ameraucana and she lays lovely blue eggs. I am looking to breed her with a Roo and am trying to source a black, blue or splash young ameraucana roo. Any body out there have any ideas on where to find a Roo on or near the vancouver island area?!
Thanks!

I've got 23 blue Americana eggs that should hatch in five days. We have rumpless arocaunas, Easter eggers and French black copper Marans can't wait to add the blues to the list

I am in the Kelowna area and have a splash roo. The women I got all my ameraucanas from doesn't breed the specific colors together so they are not show quality and I have no idea if they breed true. This probably isn't what you are looking for but if you're interested let me know and I can send you her email.

Hello all! We just got our first flock; two black sex links, and two ameraucanas! I'm thinking (hoping) these are Blue Ameraucanas, can anyone confirm?

The color isn't 100% correct in the image, they're under a red light and I corrected.

They're color is a white/light cream underbelly, with varying shades of grey.

Posted in a couple threads and general consensus was that they are blues, whatcha think?!

Thank you! Super excited to join the chicken community!!

My blir
they do look like blues...

of course we will have to wait for them to grow some feathers to know for sure how they turn out....

They are definitely SUPER cute!

I love the blue chicks!  I think they are the cutest color!

My blue was much lighter as a day old, but my black was solid grey, so it sounds like you may have a dark blue or splashes, which could be lovely.
