Alright. So I bought these from the sapphire gem bin at Bomgaars. I was under the impression that's what they were. Til today, when I went out and found a cream / white egg. There the only ones who could be breed mismatched.... everyone else lays some shade of brown.... our flock is composed as follows:
2x sapphire splash
2X hampbar
2 RIR
2 barred rock
1 creve roo
1 polish roo
1 lavender orpington
1 dark brahma
2x "mystery" sapphire / andalusian chicken, who we refer to as tweedledee and tweedledum because i can no longer tell them apart. They are from bomgaars at the end of april.... so whatever that works out to be for age. Math is hard.

Blue Andalusian should have white ear lobes and lay white eggs (not cream) also with more of a Leghorn type body..

So I'm going with Sapphire gem since that's what the bin was labeled.

Pretty ladies. 🥰
Thank you. Any ideas who else could lay white / cream eggs?

Ya those aren't Blue Andalusian

That does look pretty white. Sometimes young hens have trouble getting their egg production going, and it could just be a glitch. Is the shell the same color inside as outside? Since brown eggs are just white eggs covered in a brownish bloom, the inside will always be white.

I suspect one of the Saphire Splashes is Austra White actually and she may be laying the white eggs. Picture is not clear, but she looks too skinny for Saphire. Can you take better picture of her, please.

Whatever you got at the end of April is now 4 1/2 months old, about. They were 4 mo at the end of Aug. It's now the middle of September so you add half a month.
