Blue Birchen Rock?

Hi! He is from Blue Rock x Blue Barred Rock.
Would he be called Blue Birchen or just a mess?

So he is from a blue barred parent x with a barred parent, very interesting

Hi! Thanks! I think he's pretty, the silver over blue is a pleasing combination to my eyes.
Not from barred x barred --- from blue barred (Bb) Rock boy over blue Rock girls. I bought the * Rock eggs from Kathy in Ocala (Halo) a while back.
If I had an open pen, I could put him with a blue Rock girl and see what pops out.

He's pretty, but genetically not Birchen. I'd say as others - Looks like he's got some penciling/partridge back there.

Hi! I'm not familiar with partridge (except that I thought partridge is reddish/brownish and black) or penciled at all.
Oh wait, I just read that partridge and black breasted red are the same color/pattern.

All the girls I've hatched have either been solid (no off color, just black/blue/splash) or barred. There are several boys with similar markings to the guy in the pic, neither solid or barred.
