Blue blue eggs

The imbedded meta data for the basket of blue eggs shows that the image was manipulated by Microsoft Photo Editor on 2-25-2008. Don't know in what way the photo was 'manipulated', heck it could have simply been cropped or resized. Regardless, I like the picture.

My pictures are resized to fit a 15" monitor. When I first
kind of figured out how to get pictures on auctions they were coming out HUGE. I was advised to resize them down and they would fit.

I have a lot of experiance with Photoshop and photo editing software and in my opinion that photo is not a fake. It would have taken HOURS and a lot of experiance to fake that. The shadow from the handle affecting the shade of the coloration on the eggs would have been really hard to get right and look natural. I believe the coloration that appears to be on the basket is a reflection of the blue eggs on the surface of the stain/sealant on the basket. Anyone who could fake the shadow that well would not have been sloppy enough to forget to remove the color layer over the basket.
AWESOME EGGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ten minutes with Photoshop and I got this.

NOTE:

This isn't any attempt at showmanship, I was just playing with Photoshop to see how easy it was to change colors and found it was kind of fun.

Here's another:

Ok, I am great with color and PS.... professional artist.... and, yes, the image is a little on the blue side overall, every digital camera and film leans toward a certain color..... you have to adjust for this when doing professional developing, editing, printing, etc.

BUT, after having a look at the image and adjusting to remove the extra coolness of the image colors, I can tell you that those are STILL VERY blue eggs!!!! I will be buying some eventually myself I do believe

I would post my edit of this image... but it is not mine and I will leave it at that

Poor Gary, everyone is picking on his eggs. Gary is a respected member of the araucana community who has only good reveiws from people who have bought his birds. I trust him completely if he says that is the color of his eggs. Gary's araucanas are real, and his eggs are wicked blue!

I didn't mean to start something negative when I posted this thread.
I lean more to believing Gary than not believing him. If I can even get a few shades lighter than those eggs I won't be sorry. The challenge of creating more birds that lay a deeper blue color is one of the joys of raising chickens. To buy a perfect bird or layer is impossible.
I loved seeing everyone's egg colors that have posted on here. I love to see what others share with us. I hope everyone understands that what you may think you are seeing can be created from your own ideas and images in your mind. I hope no one has gotten upset from this thread and have been able to instead take some ideas and project plans from the posts.
I want to thank everyone for their interesting posts. Especially the purple eggs. Now there is a project to consider!

Will one of the young people on the forum please tell me what "imho" means. The only thing I can figure out is a rap stars paid girlfriend. Being called basically a liar and having the Bible quoted in the same post really does tick me off. Notice I used no acronyms, I am old enough that I can usually say what I mean outright

In my honest opinion or in my humble opinion
