I understand the shell is much harde. You might want to try ur dremmel or other drill. Sounds real pretty.

Ok so I am late to this thread by two years but I am so inspired..

These are my first four eggs, but I am sure there will be many more to come.

These are eggs from my Rouen ducks. I have found I get a much better hole using a dremel tool to drill the hole. I haven't tried it with a chicken egg yet, but I will let you know. My Wellsummer is molting at the moment so I just had to try the feathers. I love the rub-ons. I have tried painting them before, but I am such a perfectionist and never feel they are good enough to give to anyone as gifts. With these rub-ons I know the image is pretty before I start!

I also think Mod Podge might be my new favorite thing
