So I have to ask, how do you make homemade marshmallows? What do they look like when you are finished? I am such a kitchen nut.

Thank you I just sent some to Walterboro SC where the inlaw are at, It is crazy that you cant get more for them. Have you tried craigslist? I got a ton of orders from it, as well as my local feed store. You sure in heck deserve more than that for all your hard work. I also wrote a little splurb about how my hens are healthy leading to thicker egg shells and how it was all done local and I think that always helps when people know its a local grown item made by hand from healthy happy chickens.

I just figure Im the one who is hunting and fishing so who better to cook the fresh food. Then you need a great tasting goodie to go with the other homemade stuff sooo I might as well do that.

Here's my first attempt at a decorated egg. I destroyed at least 5 beautiful Marans eggs and a few EEs before succeeding with this one!

I couldn't find any filigree rub-ons but I did find stickers at Michael's in the scrapbooking section. They worked perfectly and were super easy to use!

For the hangar, I used the ornament hangars from some miniature bulbs- they worked like a dream! I didn't even have to super glue them.

I just love this project! Thanks MissP for the idea! I intend to make many more for gifts from our own eggs but am horrible at the blowing aspect, so I bought one of these "Blas-Fix egg blowers:

For $12.00, it's worth saving me the wasted egg shells.

Here's my finished product:

This is the bottom hole:

These are the ornament hangars that I removed from the mini bulbs:

I put them under the for sale lists on Farm & Garden, arts and crafts, general and collectibles. I also put it under the community area under pets and artists

I hope it helps! You deserve so much more than what you are getting for your hard work.
