Blue/Brown Eggs, Easter/Christmas Eggs - Getting my craft on!!

I actually talk about Hobby Lobby so much I figured by now people were tired of hearing about that store lol. That is where I got my rub ons.

My question is this.....Where in Hobby Loby did you find the "Bead Caps"??? You know the things at the top and bottom to cover the holes.

When I went to HL the people there had no idea of what I was asking for.

We have a Hobby Lobby,but I haven't set foot in one in several years (much too dangerous!).

oh yes, that is a good point, about beadcaps and there being NONE at HL. I found bead caps at micheals.


OHHH i found (at HL ) lovely chicken prints, ceramics, wire basket with antique chicken print/finish and an iron/metal chicken silloette to hang outside, OH MY! I had to get it!

the bird sanctuary down the road here sells ostrich eggs... next time i have an extra $20 i htink i'll get one and do this with it.. lol....

i know i've seen them carved and stuff... but this would be pretty too.... what about emu eggs?? i hear they are a pretty color??

You made me interested. And I drove two hours while my mother was sleeping to go to hobby lobby.

Now, I stay up late and make them while everyone is sleeping. Fun. But my chickens aren't laying so I'm going to have to go to the feed store and buy some local eggs.

I couldn't find bead caps. So I just bought beads. I will post pictures after I finish some.
