Please post pictures when you are finished. I really want to see how stickers do compared to rub ons. They are soooo much cheaper than rub ons.

I just got finished putting the end caps or bead spacers on several of my eggs with ribbons. I have super glue all over my finger tips now lol.
I will post pictures tomorrow after they have had time to really dry. I remember super glue setting in seconds but this stuff still pulls apart after a min. so I want them to have all night befor I hang them up for a picture befor I send them off to my secret santa person.

Egad, people!
I am not all thumbs, I am all elbows! Mine never turn out so pretty.
However, my barn is nice and tidy. I'll stick with what I know and you guys do all those pretty things.

Here is a picture of everything I have gotten done with my eggs so far. I had no idea how many eggs I had until I put them all together to take a picture! LOL 4 dozen and 4 extra. The ones in the right upper corner are the ones I just spray painted and now I know I don't know the meaning of lightly spray. I had some of them running and dripping I got so much paint on them. Not sure how I am going to like them with rub ons.

I just wanted to say.. these eggs are HARD to break!
I thought they would crack easily but today I was crushing up extra egg shells.. and in there was a couple of "rejects" from the ornaments project, blown & baked but a little too cracked or something.. anyway... it took a GREAT deal of pressure to crack those eggs, I honestly couldn't believe it... I checked the egg twice to see if, oh.. I don't know, it was actually empty.. not that an egg full of yolk should've been THAT hard to crush..

OH.. and this was ALSO one of those store bought cheapies!

I ran outta stickers... will get picks of the few I've done soon if I don't head out for more supplies even sooner!

I don't know what they are feeding their chickens where you got your eggs from but china-marts are very easy to break and even one of my eggs broke today when it slipped out of my hand and only fell about 2 feet. I gouped mod podge on real thick where the cracks were and hope they aren't easy to see when it dries. I keep those for my own tree.

Algo, I love the spray painted ones! Very cool with the silver paint but original egg color coming through. Those would look good just as they are, with no further embellishment. And I really like what you did with the beads; very elegant. Now you've got me thinking I need to make more, just so I can try it with beads. Oh, the possibilities are endless!

a pretty silky tassel hanging from the bottom would be pretty too... just make sure if you put weight on the bottom of the egg that it's hanging from a ribbon or wire going all the way through the egg... not just attached to the bottom.. you don't want the egg to have to support too much weight and break...

i like the beads too.. make it very pretty...

In that picture the silver and gold eggs had no mod podge on them. After I took the picture I put a coat of it on them and once they dried they looked alot prettier to me. It brought out the paint even more in a good way. I agree, they don't need anything else. I did put some rub ons on about 3 of them and they look good but I could save my rub ons for others eggs if I wanted to.
I got the beads from hobby lobby when they had them 50% off. I was trying to save money since the metal bead seperators were so expensive and decided they look just as good as the metal.
Thanks for your opinion. Good to know someone else likes them!
