see the nice part is.. you tag them at that, but you know it's not set in stone.. let them haggle you back down to $7 for one.. lol.. or 2 for $10....
always give yourself a play cushion.. and you'd also be surprised how many people will not even balk at the higher price if they don't know better.. these would sell for even more at craft shows... give yourself credit.. you're an artist.. these are hand decorated ornaments...
make sure you always say hand decorated.. and if they hear hand painted you never said it that way...
and remeber you're trying to recoup costs.. you have to feed the chickens who lay the eggs.. lol...

I never thought I would say this but since I got a ton of rub ons in the mail yesterday and have decorated over 2 dozen eggs, I might be getting tired of this lol. Maybe it is just the crappy quality of Oriental Tradings rub ons...

Children's tattoos!!!

My DH just tried applying some to a clean egg! (You know, the tattoos you apply with a wet washcloth). It looks great and went on so easy! Then I covered it with some ModPodge just to make sure it doesn't run. It doesn't! So quick an easy! And you can find some with massively vibrant colors. We find these at dollar stores, Wal-mart, everywhere! And they're relatively inexpensive

You know how kids always want to decorate their beds with stickers? Well at least every kid I know does. I don't let mine use stickers because they always peel and look nasty and dirty after a while. I let my kids pick out tatoos that match their room's decor. We then apply them to the bed in an orderly fashion. It looks nice when its done and they don't peel or get messed up. I don't see why it wouldn't work on other things also.

i had mentioned temporary tattoos earlier.. i haven't had a chance to try it yet... i haven't been able to keep any of my eggs due to various swaps and trains and trades.. lol... i have 4 slackers that aren't laying yet....

I also used the tatoos to spice up an old white dresser for my son's "Pirate" room. It's hard to find Pirate decor around here.

I just got home from Hobby Lobby and all rub-ons are 50% off--I believe their sales are the same everywhere.
