Blue/Brown Eggs, Easter/Christmas Eggs - Getting my craft on!!

OK...I used the ModPodge for sealing the eggs and don't like the way it looks at all.

What would you recommend for spraying on as a sealer????

For sealer, I used 'Plaid' brand craft sealer stuff, but anything like that would work. Look for something non-yellowing. I found mine at Walmart.

When I was blowing my own eggs, I was using them scrambled, but after blowing the first dozen, went on ebay and bought 8 DOZEN blown eggs. They were really cheap, and I've almost used up the entire 8 dozen. It's way easier, and whoever did mine, did a way better job than I did. It's worth it. I did use some of my pullet's first eggs for sentimental value, but for the rest, it's just too much work, especially since I've made about 72 ornaments so far! Like I said, I need a 12 step program for this! And don't get me started on the gift boxes I'm decorating FOR the eggs. Man, it just snowballs.

me make boxes?? ppfftttt i still haven't had a chance to make eggs.... i might do some for easter gifts though.. with matching boxes, if i have money at that point to buy boxes.. lol..
i don't have extra $ to buy rub ons either, but i have a decent supply of acrylic paints, and i did nail art for years, so i think painting on eggs should be about the same.. bigger workable surface though.. lol.. when i get around to it i'll post pics for you guys...
