Blue/Brown Eggs, Easter/Christmas Eggs - Getting my craft on!!

Our kitten decided to climb our little egg tree and knocked three out eggs off the branches before we could pry him out of the branches.

it's a good thing he is so CUTE!

First let me say, I am NOT an artist. I live in a small town, the nearest craft store is an hour away, so no rub ons. Every ones eggs are so beautiful I wanted to try some. So thanks to youtube and google images, I found a few things I liked and tried my hand at it. I think they turned out pretty good for a non-artist.

Anyone use duck eggs for this? I may try it for my friend who gives us his duck eggs! Okay so now I am thinking wait till dh gets home to blow...lol! I might pass out and who would take care of Hunter?

Duck eggs are waxy and goose eggs have a different texture. You have to sand a little first to get things to adhere properly.

Calico, those are beautiful!! Really! I especially love the silver with snowflakes, and the dark blue with trees. If I could paint that well, you better believe I wouldnt be using the rub ons, either.
