Blue/Brown Eggs, Easter/Christmas Eggs - Getting my craft on!!

They look great! Love the western theme.

I too had problems getting the rub-ons on in one piece. I decided to go with gloss spray acrylic instead of ModPodge. I put the first coat on and it looks pretty good, although I think I sprayed a little heavy as I did get a few runs. I'm going to try to lightly sand off the runs and respray today.

I gave some as gifts last year and they wnet over well. I have seen some new ideas in the mean time that I would love to try, but I can't justify buying eggs to blow out.

I looked at the gloss spray acrylic .. i didn't buy either.

I do better with DH if I buy a little at a time ..

Yesterday I spent 15.00

If I go spend another 10.00 today he is less likely to say something than if I dropped 25.00 or 30.00 at the craft store.. silly, I know..

Except for the horse/western ones, you have the same ones I used last year. I think they look just fine. Great job for your first time. Should have seen how bad my first few turned out lol. I thought they looked terrible but my family liked the cracks they get if the rub-on moves. Said it gave it an antiqued look.
