Blue/Brown Eggs, Easter/Christmas Eggs - Getting my craft on!!

HAHA Muggs you'll do fine Im just finishing my last bunch for a craft show next week:) I always save all my eggs from treatments for egg blowing-its perfect.....I dont do them all year but I will save them blow them out and then save the empty blown out eggs until I start doing the decorated parts. I was sitting on over 100 blown out eggs for months before I finally got the mother load of rub ons:)

Makes me sick to think of all the eggs I wasted. And the reluctant admission of eggs we didn't use just got thrown on the compost pile. To think of all the blues and greens I could have had....our girls went from laying 2 dozen a day to JUST 1 to 2 eggs a day. SLACKERS!

I tie my ribbon then push the smooth end thru the hole in the bead cap so that the knot is on the underside of the cap, then glue on.

Well, now I feel I am in good company! Math and science for me over girlie any day! (My sister is model perfect and girlie to boot, I couldn't compete so I took to books, being a tomboy and a dirty sense of humor to get attention! Class clown baby!) My poor DH tied the knot to someone with nonexistent home economic skills! Yet I am a homemaker! Ha ha ha. Oh the irony.

I'm crafty every other year. I swear it is on that cycle.

Nat gave me the initial inspiration...her eggs were so cute! Miss Prissy had the right idea posting this thread and the deets for us to make something beautiful out of our eggs...her eggs were so classy and delicate looking. (Thanks Miss Prissy!) I can see how you can cater to every genre with these. Classy to cute, to whimsical... Truly...I am inspired.

I love the idea of giving some to my kids teachers for the holidays. Someone else posted here if they don't come out perfect, she'll say her kids made them!
