Wouldn't have mattered IMO. All the ones by me stopped carrying rub-ons. I ordered a bunch through Scrapbook.com . Check the last 10 or so pages back, lots of good links to online retailers with little to no shipping charges.

Here is what Ive done so far. The gold and silver ones are stickers and the colored ones are rub ons...darn, what a pain in the booty they are. Ive still to podge them and cap. But so far im pleased.

Our Michaels is in the "city" an hour away. I went in last year asking about rub ons and they told me "nobody uses those anymore, so we don't carry them"

But yet I saw on here where a few people got them there. I ended up having to order them on line.

I have been wanting to try this forever but was waiting for more green egg layers to lay (of course you can't tell it's green in the pic

) I have been saving these rub-ons since last year, I found them at the dollar section at Target and they were after Christmas so they were .50 for a package of about 40. Here is the first one.

I found rub-on transfers at Michaels but only the Christmas kind with the holiday craft items. Also, Joann's had a few with their holiday stuff.
My eggs are only painted...haven't tried to do the rub-ons yet....kinda afraid I will break them

gofasterstripe I love the gold/silver stickers you used! (of course stickers are so easy to find) yours look great but did they stick and go on pretty easy?
