Blue Cochin a cockerel or pullet?

Well, I should be glad all 7 aren’t males. Does anyone know how long the two cockerels will be alright in a coop together? There are other pullets with them as well as two Guniea Fowl.
It is hard to say.

Are you allowed to have roosters at your place?

Welcome to Backyard Chickens! Thank you for joining- we hope you have a good time here. It looks like you have a handsome Blue Cochin cockerel. For the size and age... the comb is a little too large and bright. If it was a she at egg laying stage and had a bright comb, I'd have said pullet. In this case, that's probably a cockerel.

I've had two roosters together in the past, they went through the 'teenager' stage together... but fought when older without developing a hopeful pecking order. Depending on how they were raised, and if together, it can vary. Time will most likely tell. Just have an extra water and feed station- have enough perches- and it's the best you can do.

Oh yes. I have 2 acres, 3 coops (2 large and 1 medium size), and I’m trying to figure out the best situation for my birds. We had a nasty run in with a raccoon leaving us with only 2 “big girls”. Recently I was given 3 Bantam Mille Fleur D'uccle by my neighbor who couldn’t care for them but I had to split them up because they were brother and sisters...I don’t know if that’s right or not, it just seemed strange.
Oddly enough my “big girls” a huge Golden Comet and a very sweet Black Sexlink accepted the Bantam rooster. The 2 Mille Fleur D'uccle hens are in a coop together. Out of my 5 chicks and 2 Guniea Fowl 2 of the chicks appear to be cockerels. Which will total me out at 3 soon to be roosters.

Thank you for the insight! He/She is a sweet little thing...probably due to my 6year old daughter holding him constantly. I have been told that space and sometimes breed has a lot to do with roosters fighting. His cockerel coop mate is a Light Brahma and I know I won’t have enough hens to keep them both busy, so hopefully they get along!!
