Blue color

What is the diference between a pale blue color chicken and a self blue color chicken?

I have an oriental gamefowl hen that is blue. I mean, the blue was pretty prominent when she was younger but now as she's aged a few more months, the blue has turn into a sort of bluish grey color now..... very pretty they are, blue birds.

*Edit* - You ARE talking about feathers, right? Or skin color?

Self-Blue is Lavender.

In the first picture the chick on the left is Self-Blue, chick on the right is Blue. Second picture is of two Lavender Orpingtons. Does that help any?

I'd describe it as blue.
Its actually exactly what a blue colored bird looks like. Nothing unusual there.
