Quote: Again NOT an expert. The pullet looks like she has a tail that is a little too high for me.... something odd about her tail I can't tell what other than it is LONGER than I am used to seeing. Her eyes look pretty dark too.
The roo is really NARROW.... could be he will fill out but he seems really narrow at the tail not sure that will get corrected.
Thank you for the input @DMRippyAgain NOT an expert. The pullet looks like she has a tail that is a little too high for me.... something odd about her tail I can't tell what other than it is LONGER than I am used to seeing. Her eyes look pretty dark too.

The photo angles are difficult to comment on. It appears that he has quite a bit of copper all over his chest but again, hard to tell with the lighting. His tail looks pinched from the second photo, and he might be narrow behind as well (the two go together often). It is difficult to see if he has any shank feathering at all. He appears to have a crooked toe, but that could be the ice he is stepping on. The copper coloring and eye color look good to me...so many blues are too light in copper color to my eye.
At what age does the copper start showing up on the Blues? I have 2, a pullet and a cockerel, that are about 5 weeks old. Pretty much fully feathered, but so far also still solid blue with no hint of any other colors.
What is it you think is odd about her? Is it because she is so dark all over for a blue? If you want to lighten up her color just breed her to the blue copper with the copper on his breast you have. you will get splash and then she would be a good candidate for a Splash Cockerel but you can't really see how much copper splash have. You might get the color you like with just the blue copper. I would not worry too much on the clean legs. A roo with good feathered legs will fix that in the chicks. She has the genes for that probably they just didn't express and might come out with a feathered roo.
Experiment.... that is why we MAD SCIENTIST have chickens to see what we can create in the next generation.
