I've been following this thread and find it fascinating. Keep giving us updates and thanks to you and Bramwell for sharing. Who knows, maybe in a few years we'll have a new great layer to interest even more new people into the backyard flock movement.
 
I have been following this thread and really enjoying it. I live in ne arkansas and would love to try to get some of the eggs the next time i visit family in bentonville. Would this be possible, who would i need to contact? Thanks James

Michigan State University has a poultry science department, as well as an experimental farm. I took poultry science as an undergrad there many years ago. I also picked up hatching eggs there for a friend once last year. And we call them MSU - and how many of those are there? :rolleyes:
