It does not matter whether it is the male or female parent, as long as one of them are pure bred araucana or both parents have at least one blue/green egger gene.

I don't get it, if both parents have one blue egg gene, don't you have a 25% chance the offspring will inherit two recessive non blue egg genes? In that case it's not guaranteed. Blue egg genes are dominant but that doesn't meant they will pass on to progeny

He means that if one parent is a pure Ameraucana(has two blue egg genes) all offspring will have one blue egg gene and there for lay eggs that are green or blue.
