Blue eggs

Is there anyone here who has gotten a really rich robin's egg blue chicken egg ? I've had many blue egg layers and have gotten many blue eggs but all were a pale light blue. Am I just chasing a dream?

I have seen super blue egg layers. Idk if they actually lay super blue eggs but the eggs looked like robin eggs in the pictures.

Pretty much....they are rare, and beware of internet pics as they are often 'doctored'.

You'd have to find a breeder that has specifically bred for egg color....
....and is reputable(can also be rare).

I've been chasing that dream, too! I've come close with a friend's EE in that they were more a "sky" then a watercolor pastel. I have my own EE and Ameraucana now but they're not laying just yet

I think that finding that beautiful robin egg blue is like searching for the Marans egg that is a 9 on the color scale..... when/if it happens it's a rarity. I'm not saying it's impossible but your chances of it aren't that great.

I have an EE bantam that lays sweet light turquoise blue eggs, of course they aren’t electric blue or anything but they aren’t easily mistaken for white either.

The best blues I've had was from hatchery EE's.
Where are your Ameraucanas from...and how long do we have to wait to see what they lay?
