blue giant jersey

I don't know what on earth is the age progression of a blue giant jersey and am concerned that mine is a black giant jersey just with poor quality as it has a couple of white feathers on the wings. Will it molt later on and take on its beautiful colors? I will post pictures soon.

I've had blacks, whites and blues. Not a ton of them but in my experience, the black is always all black but the blue can share white and blue feathers. I only had one true blue. All nice birds though.

Here is a picture. I always get my chicks from a local feed store which always seems to impress me with the breeds and the quality. But this time I think they gave me a black giant jersey as they came in the same batch as the blues.

I have no way of knowing for sure but one thing I may suspect is that there could have been cross breeding between the different varieties.
