Blue Headed pure Cornish?

If she was a splash laced red, she would have to contribute blue to all her chicks. It's possible there may be both dominant and recessive white at play here, which would explain some all white chicks. Still no hypothesis on a single blue headed chick though.

OK really fishing here, but with the weird late feathering this chick showed early, could it possibly be showing a slate kind of undercolor as a partial top color sort of thing ? No explanation for why, or how a Cornish would have a slate undercolor. Just throwing stuff out there.

Here is an update on that blue head cornish. He is not blue headed anymore! there is also a picture of my dark cornish hen who is not laying any eggs yet despite her being older than siblings who do lay eggs. "Free loader"!

I wanted to embed them here, but forget how to put the photos in a post. I checked FAQ and it won't go to anything but the general forums. Likely I'm doing something wrong. Anyway, if the link above does not work, just know that he is no longer blue!
