I'd imagine breed a blue to a black laced color until you got a blue laceWell of course, but how would this invert where the blue is? How do you change the blue lacing to the outside instead of having blue replace the black on the GLB?
I’ve never seen a true-breeding variety with gold lacing on the outside of the feather, do you have a picture of these polish?It seems like it would be simple enough to get Red Laced Blue (I thought good lines of GLB Polish actually did carry Mahogany modifiers)... but how do you switch it?![]()

It should be just a matter of crossing white crested blue with Gold laced, then. Breed for increasing the mahogany modifiers I strongly suspect are already in the breed, and breed out the white crest. (No easy feat, if you ask my Houdans, but probably still preferable to introducing another breed to bring in the blue.)
