Blue Laced Red Wyandotte coloring?

I'm wondering if the coloring changes as they get older. This one is 7 weeks old and her coloring is so pale. I'd like to know if she ages it might get brighter, or it's just a variation of the coloring?

Shes a splash laced red not a blue laced red is why she paler. As they come in blue laced splash laced and black laced

Where did you get her from? If you got her from a feed store or a hatchery like Hoovers, McMurray, etc. then her coloring won't be perfect.

She’s from a local breeder/family farm. I am not too worried about perfect coloring, but didn’t know if she’d change or she’d stay so light.

She will stay light. I have a splash laced too. She will grow into a beautiful bird!

Blue-laced Red Wynadottes do not breed "true" just like all the other Andalusian Blue based birds. Depending on what color the parents are you can produce Blue-laced Red, Splash-laced Red, or Black-laced Red.

Those are gorgeous birds! Did you breed them? And are they yours? If you don’t mind me asking.
